One interesting point this report mentions that I didn't notice before: that
use of Tab can still re-enable password input without use of mouse. That
suggests to me that the right widget is not being 'focused' on any more, both
for the current report for Plasma 5.24 (bug 449857) as well as the earlier
report for Plasma 5.18 (bug 439604).
