Maybe it's worth checking with
$ stat foo.bar
as this gives you the Device Number/Inode values and seeing if these change
with a reboot.
Baloosearch is saying it has seen the foo.bar with the two ID's; can be at
different times so maybe 6e5300000050 one day and 6e5300000055 after a reboot.
