SUMMARY
Opening the overview and typing any search term causes first letter entered
twice
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Overview effect with meta+w
2. Search anything like 'firefox' quickly
OBSERVED RESULT
'firefox' gets typed as 'ffirefox' the first 'f' gets repeated twice
EXPECTED RESULT
The first letter is not repeated and it searches for firefox not ffirefox
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows:
macOS:
Linux/KDE Plasma: linux 5.9.1

KDE Frameworks Version: 5.90.0

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
It can be mitigated by typing only first letter and when the search results
start appearing then continue typing rest of the term !
