Bug ID: 450158 Summary: In the "Search" field, add a "x" button to erase the searched word. Product: plasmashell Version: 5.23.3 Platform: Neon Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: Emoji Selector Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: paninomaninod...@gmail.com Target Milestone: 1.0 SUMMARY *** NOTE: If you are reporting a crash, please try to attach a backtrace with debug symbols. See https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open Emoji Selector 2. Search for an emoji using the search tool 3. Search for another emoji OBSERVED RESULT Everything works as intended... except... EXPECTED RESULT I know this is really minor and futile, but I noticed after using the emoji selector on Twitter there the search field there has a "x" button so erase the word you searched and Emoji Selector don't. I just wonder if Emoji Selector also shouldn't have one of those buttons? I just stopped to think and check, and other areas of Plasma that have a search field show you a "x" button to erase the search word, so there's a lack of consistence here in the Emoji Selector by not having it.
