I'd just like to chime in here and say that I'm experiencing this too on
Wayland. Using four displays, three 1080p and one 4k with 150% scaling to
1440p. I didn't realise this was an issue until on my laptop, the selection was
silky smooth. My desktop has an RX 5700XT GPU and my laptop has a Ryzen 4700U.
