Hi,
I've never done this before so apologies if I'm not doing it right.
- Upon starting Ktorrent gives some strange error message in a tiny box:
"Unknown host geolite.maxmind.com: Host not found."
- When I try to download torrents I get some error message about "malformed
torrents" or somesuch thing.
- I tried several attempts to not only find the path directory for ktorrent in
terminal, but also the entire filename as I wanted to uninstall it. The only
thing that finally worked was 'whereis <filename>.'
- I also tried to cd to the directory that ktorrent was finally found in; tried
to uninstall using the command 'sudo apt-get purge <filename>.' I got this
response (even though when I clicked on its icon in the start menu it was up
and running JUST FINE): "Package 'ktorrent' is not installed, so not removed."
Anyway, tysm for taking the time to read this and possibly solve the
aforementioned issues. Take care, and have a great weekend.
