Dear Gilles,

I'm afraid I've lost digiKam.
When I opened another program after restarting, digiKam no longer opens.

And doing an extra restart every time is certainly not the solution.

I'll leave it installed, switch to Windows 11 and then work with Adobe Elements
Organizer. (I don't like it that much, but it works).

I will always try digiKam in between. If you find a solution, I'd love to hear
from you.

When you close digiKam, wait a little bit, and check if digikam.exe still in
memory.

If yes, this want mean that application is not closed properly. This is why you
cannot start it again. It's another problem.
