So I have to enable the compositor again, logout, enter Password, and than everything works as expected. This bug was present in Leap 15.2 more than 1.5 years now. To go to standby doesn't work as a workaround. If I have to do the above twice a day - desktop effects disabled and enabling the compositor.. - it's no tragedy.
