I have encountered similar bug.
The workaround mentioned in the MR mentioned above:
"To try it out on a live system, simply rename
/usr/share/kservices5/kraorathumbnail.desktop to
/usr/share/kservices5/kritathumbnail.desktop"
does not work for me.
Strangely enough it helps viewing .kra files in Gwenview, which was not
possible at all before applying the workaround.
BUT Gwenview shows only files created cca after 10th of January this year -
which more or less correlates with openSUSE Tumbleweed upgrading to
kde-frameworks 5.90
