US layout is only shown in the tray but is deleted in the system settings.
SUMMARY
After deleting in my case the US keyboard layout in the system settings the
layout still shows and applies in the system tray.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Go to System Settings > Input Devices > Keyboard and choose the "Layouts"
tab.
2. In the layouts add another layout (in my case UK) if you haven't already and
delete the US one that should be there by default.
3. Delete the US keyboard layout so that only one remains.
OBSERVED RESULT
In the system settings the US layout is gone, however if you look at your
system tray there should be a little icon that shows the current keyboard
layout which is set to US layout. If you click on it it still switches to UK
but switching apps defaults it to US.
EXPECTED RESULT
After deleting the US keyboard layout the layout should also not appear in the
system tray.
