So when a DDC enabled monitor is plugged into the hdmi port, powerdevil (with -DHAVE_DDCUTIL) is able to control it, but then the laptop monitor ceases to be controllable. Unplugging the hdmi monitor allows the laptop screen to be controlled again. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Plug DDC monitor into laptop 2. Try to dim screens OBSERVED RESULT Only dims DDC monitor EXPECTED RESULT Dims DDC monitor and laptop screen.
