Wow, what a strange bug. Very well-explained too. Moving to KWin since nothing
in Plasma can make your windows disappear like that!
I can't get it to happen in Plasma 5.24 in the Wayland session, but I might not
be reproducing it in the exact same way; this sort of bug often manifests
differently depending on hardware configurations. However we did make a lot of
multiscreen improvements in Plasma 5.24, so it would be nice if it's fixed
already!
Would you be able to test it out:
1. In the Plasma Wayland session on Plasma 5.23.4, your current Plasma version
2. Upgrade to the Plasma 5.24 beta (or wait until the final release in a few
weeks) and test it out again on the X11 session
3. Do the above again, but in the Wayland session
