I'm using radeon and seem to be affected by the same bug. What's strange is the
firefox window does kind of remember its size even on my secondary monitor (the
one on the right on my dual monitor setup), but only as long as that size is
smaller than the resolution of my first (the one on the left) monitor! My left
monitor is smaller, which is why I noticed.
In case it helps, I seem to be running plasmashell 5.6.5 and kwin 5.6.5, in
debian stretch.
