Thanks for your report!
Unfortunately it seems that Kdenlive does not work at all on M1 (even with
Rosetta) at the moment. However native M1 support is definitely on our roadmap.
We are currently waiting for KDE Craft to support it, since Craft is used to
create our macOS and Windows packages.
