Ok .... now i've made some experiment:
I tried with "Funtoo Stable" with xorg-server-1.17.4 and "nouveau" drivers.
The users exchange now takes place on a regular basis. Then the problem is
probably due to the release of xorg-server and / or proprietary nvidia-drivers.
Sorry for this bug report; Now the "users-switch" seems to work properly.

But I also tried other distributions as Manjaro and devuan; with them there
were problems with nouveau.

I will write in "nvidia.com" that there are troubles with graphics proprietary
