            Bug ID: 448206
Summary: switch desktop on edge breaks panel auto hide option
                    usability
           Product: plasmashell
           Version: master
          Platform: Archlinux Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Panel
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: guaxim56gm...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: 1.0

switch desktop on edge breaks panel auto hide option

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. go to settings. workspace behavior, screen edges and set switch desktop on
edge to always
2. right click on panel, edit, more options, enable auto hide

OBSERVED RESULT

Now you cant show or unhide the panel by hovering your mouse on the bottom of
the screen, making the panel only accessible by pressing meta to open the app
launcher for example, effectively breaking a good part of the "auto hide"
usability.

EXPECTED RESULT

Since I have only a row of virtual desktops, switching between them on the
bottom and top of the screen is impossible, so I would expect to be able to
show the panel with my mouse. Alternatively, a simple warning when you have
auto hide enabled on the panel and try to set "switch desktop on edge" to
always could be displayed, this is a very annoying bug, specially when you
don't know what caused it
