The "Search and Replace" bottom panel is global and the behaviour that it
remains open when you switch documents is intended. If you want to close it,
pressing Esc key or Clicking on the panel button at the bottom will do that.
The document search (which you can open with Ctrl + F) closes as soon as you
switch tabs / views.
