So the only way to multi.core support is the switch in digikams maintenance dialog - right? I don't use the switch because I have to work while digikam makes the maintenance.... Yes. Disabling multicore support will run maintenance tools in a single CPU. It will be interesting to see if the Exiv2 dysfunctions are reproducible in this case.
