Indeed. A more sensible solution would be to create a user-modifiable profile
for new users and hide the default one. New profiles would be automatically
created with the default settings. There could be an action "Reset to default"
(on the right, would reset the selected profile to default) and "Copy profile"
that would make an identical profile from the selected one - I think I do not
need to explain why this would be useful.
