Testing with the Dec 28 5.1.0-prealpha (git 7f46859) on Debian 10:
For 'old' brushes, it should be possible to reduce the sensitivity in the
Tablet settings by dragging the 'Maximum brush speed' to its maximum value.
This does have a small effect.
I modified Basic_5 Size to have its size controlled by Speed with straight line
transfer curve and set the 'Maximum brush speed' to 50 (mid range).
With a 2048 x 2048 canvas, I couldn't get it to go to maximum size.
With a 1024 x 1024 canvas, it very easily went to maximum size.
These results did not seem to be repeatable in a proportional way for different
canvas sizes.
