KDE has been maintaining a branch of Qt 5 after the final official release, fixing its bugs and included updated Qt translations for many languages. The OK/Cancel buttons come from Qt Translation. Krita solved this issue by building the binaries with a updated Qt+Qt Translation as I mentioned in the original description of this bug. For the strings missing in comment 23, I suspect they are KDE framework translations. Since I'm also maintaining KDE Framework translations, I'm pretty sure those translations were completed long ago.
