Doesn't do anything when I try changing the background colour. It just keeps
white and will hurt my eyes.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. update Manjaro (stable update 21-12-10) using pacman
2. press ctrl+d in yakuake
3. see an annoying white background
OBSERVED RESULT
Yakuake has a white background and you can't change it. The KDE Theme is Breeze
Dark.
EXPECTED RESULT
The background should be black or can be changed in the yakuake settings but
changes from there don't have any effect and it's still black.
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Manjaro newest
(available in About System)
