I don't think this is something we'll be able to do in the official slideshow
wallpaper plugin, sorry. It seems like a very unusual niche feature.
However it would be possible for someone (maybe you?) to write a new wallpaper
plugin that includes the file path overlaid on top of the image somewhere. It
could be hosted on store.kde.org and anyone could download it.
