Summary: Setting shortcuts on "EN intl with dead keys" keyboard
                    layout breaks shortcuts

                OS: Linux

As you see on the screenshot attached, entering "Alt + `" gives me some
gibberish and additionally breaks all shortcuts system-wide. This happens
without even applying the change. So afterwards even Alt+F4 does not work and I
need to restart ~Windows~ KDE. I assume this happens because I am using an
non-imperial keyboard layout which is "EN international, with dead keys", you
know the one so I can do my job and still write crazy letters like ö, Ü, and
especially ß - I just like them.

This bug is reproducible for years already and I though of finally reporting
it. Probably nobody care not because this setup is so rare but because there
just too many other bugs. This is ist critical I cannot even switch between an
app's windows without changing the default shortcut to something else. So the
default setup is just broken.
