--- Comment #2 from Robby Pedrica <rpedr...@xstore.co.za> --- I've had very high plasmashell CPU usage since Plasma 5.6 ( continues in 5.7 ) - the usage seems directly related to the number of system tray icons active. I've attached a screen-shot indicating load ave and process CPU and you can see that it is very high. As I exit apps that have icons in the systray, the CPU consumption of the plasmashell process comes down.
