I filed this as well. This applies especially to displays of widgets that change size, like fuzzy clock. 2. At times (roughly once per twenty boots) all settings are gone, my desktop background image doesn't show, instead the default kde desktop is displayed, with my 20+ icons 'nicely' arranged in regular rows, starting in the upper left corner. 3. Only the Chromium icon (does it have to do with snap?) disappears for good. It never comes back, just 'empty' with the caption still there, and clicking the empty space brings chromium up. So once per fortnight I need to re-add it to the desktop. It stays, and survives a number of boots, maybe a dozen, before it doesn't pop up. Rinse and repeat.
