>From what I can understand, you had two issues:
- the center of the ellipse assistant not snapping to the guides intersection,
- the start of polyline not snapping to the intersection of assistant preview
lines.
The first one can be maybe argued that there might be something wrong, though
note that the center of the ellipse assistant won't be snapping anyway because
right now the only things that can snap in an assistant are the handles, which
are the big circles.
In the second case it's even more clear it's a wish and not a bug because the
preview lines are just meant to be a visual preview, not any kind of actual
guide like that, providing snapping etc. It's only drawn on the canvas, it
doesn't provide any more functionality.
