Maybe there is somebody else with a display at with other refresh rates who can
test this. 
If this is the indeed the limiting factor, it might be troublesome for vely low
refresh rate displays (e.g., using a TV with only 25 Hz). I am also wondering
what would happen at variable refresh rates.
