Further analysis revealed that the QML FolderDialog component has issues when
the folder has been picked through xdg-desktop-portal (which is the case with
flatpak versions).
It seems like this is an upstream Qt problem. We'll try to file an issue
upstream for this.
In the meantime, it seems that the FileDialog from QtQuick.Dialogs can be used
as workaround.
