            Bug ID: 444250
Summary: decorations sporadically drawn with large space
                    between window and borders
           Product: kwin
           Version: git-stable-Plasma/5.22
          Platform: Neon Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: aurorae
          Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: doncb...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

A window with the decoration's borders drawn far away from the edges of the
window

SUMMARY
I think this may have been reported, but can't find it. I have seen this occur
more frequently, but cannot pin down the cause. It may be connected to windows
that automatically resize themselves.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE (potentially)
1. In my case, I have a virtual machine
2. Enable an Aurorae decoration
3. Start the VM
4. VM window will resize

OBSERVED RESULT
Decoration forms a box that does not align with the actual window content. It
can be shorter and wider than the real window, or larger all around.

EXPECTED RESULT
Decoration is properly drawn around window content with no gaps.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows:
macOS:
Linux/KDE Plasma:
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.85.0
Qt Version: 5.15.3

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I'm on X11. This can also appear in newly opened windows. May also be connected
to waking after sleep.
