In the LO bug report, Axel provided additional input from a little QScreen debug program for 5.22.5 and 5.23.0. The working setup with 5.22.5 doesn't have this gap, but since it's on a different machine, it's not yet clear it's related to the update. Still one idea is, that the LO window / screen positioning code might somehow mix up width and offset; Axel's monitor setup is uncommon.
