It's still hung, trying to load from before I reported the bug. I'd like to let it load to check the settings. With regard to a clean install the folder at the location on my PC is just called digikam not digikamrc and i did delete that file when I tried to reinstall 7.2.0. Do I need to completely uninstall Mariasql as well? Getting rid of that software seems to be more problematic as every time I re-install it it seems to recognise the previous install. When I try to install 7.2.0 it won't install because it says the database has been upgraded by a later version i.e. 7.3 of digikam.
