SUMMARY
I've noticed kwin_x11 memory leak after updating plasma to the latest version
(5.23.0)
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Update to 5.23.0
2. Wait 4 days
OBSERVED RESULT
After 4 days of uptime kwin uses 560MiB of ram. It was using ~200MiB (or less)
before.
Operating System: KDE neon 5.23
KDE Plasma Version: 5.23.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.87.0
Qt Version: 5.15.3
Kernel Version: 5.11.0-36-generic (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: X11
Processors: 4 × Intel® Xeon® CPU E3-1225 V2 @ 3.20GHz
Memory: 23,4 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: Radeon RX550/550 Series
