I would certainly like to see this back again. I've been using it for years and
I cannot remember the last time it gave me any sort of issue, so not sure why
it was removed in 5.23. I could understand if it was buggy, but, as I've said,
it's been rock solid for me and I use it everyday. Personally I dislike both
the fade and slide effects, so have always used the desktop cube effect. At the
moment I'm back to using no effect. Thanks.
