Never had the problem until now using a fully updated KDE Neon, which is quite bleeding edge. However, this install worked fine until my P/S died and I moved the hd into a different box entirely. Other than being only slightly slower - if at all (2 core, bios is 2009, 6GB) - the only real difference is that my second monitor is now HDMI <---- I think it's this somehow. It happens with opengl and xrender. It happens during a session. I don't have to reboot and it scrambles the icons. Set to manual. Locked or unlocked makes no difference.
