            Bug ID: 443620
Summary: Custom Pattern doesn't show Current Layer content
                    until switched from and back
           Product: krita
Version: git master (please specify the git hash!)
          Platform: Mint (Ubuntu based)
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Usability
          Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: tamtamy.tym...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
The Custom pattern tab doesn't show anything, as if the Current Layer was
empty, until the user switches the type and then back to "Current Layer".

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
0. Create a file, the selected/current layer must have some recognizable shape,
must not be empty.
1. Open Patterns popup.
2. Switch tab to Custom Pattern.
3. There is nothing visible. Only an empty rectangle.
4. Switch to "Entire Image" and then to "Current Layer"
5. The shape shows up.

OBSERVED RESULT
In 3., there is only something resembling an empty rectangle instead of the
shape on the current layer.

EXPECTED RESULT
In 3., there should be the shape visible, and switching from and back shouldn't
change how it looks like.

NOTE:
If you then repeat the steps with a new layer and a new shape, in 3. it will
look like the old layer/shape until you refresh it. Basically it needs one
refreshing when the user opens the popup.
