Bug ID: 443525 Summary: On startup desktop quick launchers do not work 80% of the time Product: frameworks-plasma Version: 5.86.0 Platform: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: components Assignee: notm...@gmail.com Reporter: shagooser...@gmail.com CC: plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY There are a number of ways to create a desktop quick launcher including automatically when installing a program. Basically a double click on the icon will launch the program or script it refers to. For the majority of the time this functionality is inoperative when starting the PC. In some instances the functionality is randomly returned while using the PC and in a small number of cases (~20%) is available from startup. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. start the PC 2. 3. OBSERVED RESULT Double clicking a program icon does not start the program, it merely highlights the icon. It is as if the system accepts the first click but not the second click in the double click operation. EXPECTED RESULT That the program/script that the desktop quick launcher refers to is launched.
