In my current version, 5.0.0-beta1 (git 9bd5348), I cannot add any texture
settings to a newly created smudge engine brush.
The brush acts as if it doesn't consider the 'pattern' and 'strength' settings
at all, regardless of any combination of other settings I use. I have yet to
get even a semblance of a change in the brush, so I assume it is broken or
deprecated on my version.
