Bug ID: 443024 Summary: Icons for cartridge-based video game ROM images Product: Breeze Version: 5.22.4 Platform: Neon Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Icons Assignee: visual-des...@kde.org Reporter: xnagyti...@gmail.com CC: kain...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 141958 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=141958&action=edit Current state of ROM icons SUMMARY Currently the Breeze icon theme uses compact discs and generic executable icons for old cartridge-based video game ROM image formats. I see two issues here: - Wrong semantics: These old video games were distributed on game cartridges, not CDs. - Inconsistency: Half of these cartridge formats use one style of icon, the other half an another one. I think it would make sense introducing a new icon featuring some kind of stylized game cartridge for these files.
