Ok, I did a fuckton of testing by moving config files and I managed to isolate
the issue by comparing to a new user, and figured out a way to reproduce. Kinda
surprising actually. It's the scaleIconsToFit=true in
plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc when you have the virtual keyboard
enabled.
* Create a new user and log in
* Enable the virtual keyboard Maliit in the KCM
* Edit the tray to Scale with panel height
* Relogin
This should consistently reproduce the issue. You can rm -rf .config/ and
repeat the steps to confirm its reproducibility. Please confirm whether this is
reproducible for you.
