SUMMARY


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. add a widget to the taskbar or desktop and configure it to show CPU
frequencies
2. open the terminal and run <watch "cat /proc/cpuinfo | grep MHz"> to get the
current clocks

OBSERVED RESULT
The numbers are very different.

EXPECTED RESULT
They should be the same. 

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: kernel 5.14.0-0
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.85.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This started happening after I upgraded from 5.10 LTS kernel. I'm not sure if I
reported this on the correct app, I could not find which one handled widgets. 

computer: Dell Inspiron 7580, i7 8565U, MX150.
