RBG (0-255) is mostly used with image editing where full color range is needed and YCBCR (16-235) comes from analog video and is widely used in tv-screens,dvd-players and gaming consoles. Even kody mediaplayer and some windows drivers allow to select between the two modes. Almost every newer LED screen is able to switch between them too.
