This is interesting because, although I created a new album with photos taken out of an iphone, it seems that videos and jpgs have no problem to be read at first moment (with te correct metadata for GPS in digikam) but it seems that there is a problem only with HEICs. In fact, a refresh of the album do not fix the problem. I have to select photos an re-read metadata. What do you think? I'll keep you posted if I discover anything more.
