The font KCM sets the font dpi - this has nothing to do with the actual DPI of
the screens. It only affects the Xft.dpi setting (X11) which affects
fontconfig. Given that the setting belongs into the font configuration module
and *not* into the screen configuration module.

X11:
The actual DPI is calculated using the physical size exposed by xrandr. This is
an information which cannot be influenced from the client (kscreen) side.
Depending on the hardware this might be overwritten in xorg.conf.

Wayland:
On Wayland this doesn't change: client side (kscreen) has no influence on the
dpi. Physical size is set by the Wayland compositor. In the case of KWin it's
possible to override it in KWin's configuration. How this is for other
compositors I do not know.

Overall: this is nothing which we could implement. I'm sorry to say so. Given
that I mark this bug as WONTFIX.
