I'm getting this behavior too, both on my desktop and laptop. However, I
managed to stop the slowdowns by quickly switching to a TTY and running `pkill
-KILL kdeconnectd` (`killall` never worked for me so I use `pkill` instead).
Unfortunately, I haven't figured out how to make that command run automatically
right when I initiate the shutdown/logout process from my Plasma session.
