Bug ID: 440774 Summary: Latte Dock Doesn't Work Properly Product: lattedock Version: git (master) Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: major Priority: NOR Component: application Assignee: mvourla...@gmail.com Reporter: school.sh...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 140599 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=140599&action=edit After I opened settings, adjusting the location don't work, and it stopped responding after that. The only way to get it back is by changing the layout, but the program stopped working. SUMMARY Latte shows a weird blue rectangle when modifying the Dock/Panel settings, and it never disappears after closing the settings. Also, I notices that when I'm trying to change the location of the dock in Dock/Panel settings, the dock just disappears and leaving the strange blue rectangle, without moving itself to the direction it should be. It in the bottom as default, but the other three locations never worked. Also, when having Latte Dock opened, other of my applications starts working strange too. For example, Konsole will never open in normal size, it opens in a extremely small size that can't be even used properly. System settings won't even open. It just crash. (But I'm not sure about system settings because it turns out to be ok after rebooting) I'm not whether sure if it's the problem of the code or the problem of myself, because I get these errors when trying to compile and it seems to be saying that I'm missing some stuff: -------------------------------------------------------------- CMake Warning (dev) at /usr/share/ECM/modules/ECMFindModuleHelpers.cmake:112 (message): Your project should require at least CMake 3.16.0 to use FindKF5.cmake Call Stack (most recent call first): /usr/share/ECM/find-modules/FindKF5.cmake:30 (ecm_find_package_version_check) CMakeLists.txt:21 (find_package) This warning is for project developers. Also sometimes it just crash. EXPECTED RESULT Being able to change settings and modify stuff, strange blue rectangle disappear after closing/modifying settings. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Kubuntu 21.04 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.84.0 Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Using color, theme, window decoration -> ROUNDED (Not sure if this effects or not) Recently using Jazqa/kwin-quarter-tiling, but it stopped working for unclear reasons. So I removed it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
