I agree that dimming should be disabled (or at least there should be an option
added to do so) in the classical Present Windows, as it will yet take time
until the new QML replacement is ready for use. It would be a pity to leave
Present Windows in the unusable state it is in right now. I would (again) vote
for rolling back to Commit ff3cb599 and merging in PR 885.
However, the videos shared by Vlad Zahorodnii look really promising, and the
code of the old Present Windows seems somewhat messed up, so in general I think
this is the right path forward. **But please, please, please do NOT get the
terrible idea of adding a dimming effect to the new QML Present Windows.**
