SUMMARY
This is seen for the July 22 5.0.0-prealpha (git 01f361d) appimage on Debian
10.
It also happens with the 21 July (git 63be085) appimage.
It does not happen for the July 20 (git 6f58e0c) appimage, hence regression

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. With a new session, use the Colour Sampler Tool with the tool options set to
Add to Palette with any palette selected, default or personally added.
2. Start a new session and create a new palette with the Palettes Docker
3. Use the Colour Sampler Tool to add colours to the new palette
4. Select a pre-existing palette in the Palette docker
5. Select the new palette in the palette docker
6. Use the Colour Sampler Tool to add colours to the new palette
7. Close, start a new session and use the Colour Sampler Tool to add colours to
the new palette.

OBSERVED RESULT
1. Crash. Terminal output says 'Segmentation fault'. No log entries.
(If the Add to Palette option is not used, there is no crash.)
3. Sampled colours are not shown being added to the new palette
5. The new palette shows the previously added colours
6. Colours are added to the new palette
7. Crash

EXPECTED RESULT
No crashing and colours added to a newly created palette
