Hi, Ahab!
When I create a 9 pt text on a 3000dpi image the size of the text becomes 375
pixels. So it is quite obvious that the text doesn't fit the canvas and is
drawn out of it. The only warning that Krita does is drawing the outline, which
is hugely offset from the image. See this screenshot:
