SUMMARY
A DVD cannot be reloaded/replayed on a currently running system without
rebooting.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Freshly booted system, load DVD in optical drive, select player in Device
Notifier when presented (in my case VLC)
2. DVD ends, VLC closed (Ctl-Q), Select Device Notifier in System Tray and
click Eject, Optical drive opens, Device Notifier terminates
3. Load/Reload DVD in optical drive and close the drive
OBSERVED RESULT
No response from Device Notifier in System Tray
EXPECTED RESULT
Device Notifier Pop-Up in System Tray presenting action alternatives
